For as long as I can remember I've enjoyed taking pictures. As a child, my parents would try their hardest to keep the camera from reaching my hands for fear of using up the film within the first minute. My father, who was also a photo enthusiast, introduced me to my first SLR during my teens. I was hooked.

There is something magical about capturing images from everyday life. And as a result of suffering a life threatening illness as a teenager, I've grown to appreciate every glimmer, reflection, shadow, color, instance and moment with even greater appreciation and depth. It is my goal as a photographer to expose and help others recognize and appreciate the mundane; the dark; the light; the passion; the sadness; the happiness and the beauty that is life-- surrounding us constantly and endlessly.
